I made myself a new laptop sleeve FINALLY after I got a wake up call the other day.  I had a knit sleeve on it before, but it was not secure enough to defend my laptop from random items that get tossed into my bag.  The other day I pulled out my laptop and heard a jingling, and discovered that a key from my bag had slipped into my CD drive.  I got it out, but finally decided to suck it up and make a new cover.

It matches the headphone pouch I made a few months ago (lame? no.)  and I appliqued ice cream cones onto a different fabric for the top border.  I still need to put a zipper on it (once I go to the store and buy a zipper) but I’m pretty excited about it.  I lined it with the knit sleeve I was using before so it still has that soft protection. I realize this makes me look like a little kid (the silly bandz on my wrist don’t help) but what can I say? I love ice cream. Whatchu think?
