Elsa Peretti Bone Collection for Tiffany & Co.

I had my eye on the gold bone cuff until I realized it’s pushing $10,000. I’ll have to settle for more bone tattoos or a generous friend bumping their head and deciding to buy me unbelievably priced expensive jewelry.

Museum of Small Things is a two-person design team that creates jewelry inspired by museum aesthetic and documentation.  I’m in love with their new packaging — laser-cut wooden stands to store and display the jewelry pieces — perfect for any tiny museum.  Their collection is expertly curated, down to the museum-like descriptions and details given for each piece of jewelry created. Of course I’m a sucker for anything anatomy-related, so what’s not to love? The best part is: their jewelry is for sale, and not at museum prices :)

Check out their blog for a peek into their personal inspirations.
