I have to post another by my friend Laura Henninghausen, this is just so beautiful. I’m obsessed with beetles these days and this makes me want to go find some and make her embroider them for me. That’s right, Laura, make you!
She made Thomas & me a large magnolia leaf embroidered with a Day of the Dead skull and it seriously almost brought me to tears I love it so much. I’ll have to post a picture soon!

Paper sculptures and cuts from Brazilian artist Marcelo Kato. I can’t figure out if he does them by hand, but I really hope so. I love cutting paper, but most of the things I do are a little less intricate than this — inspiring!
